My story begins in Los Angeles. I was born there, at Torrance General. My birth mom and adopted mom were both present for my birth. After my birth, I went home with my adoptive mom. Home to where my dad was getting my room ready, in Oakland, California.
I love LA. The smells remind me of growing up in the 80s and 90s visiting my family in the south bay. Our beach was Hermosa and I would always get in the ocean since I grew up in the bay area where a jacket and shoes are normal beach wear.
This series of photos is a peak in my LA. Most images were shot using a 17mm fisheye. I edited these a few years ago when I was really into contrast and saturation.
